Abby is the ED of the National Public Health Coalition (formally Fired but Fighting), an organization formed following the illegal firings of pubic health professionals from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2025. NPHC is focused on building public and political will for public health in order to strengthen our Nation's public health infrastructure at all levels (federal, state, and local). We are dedicated to improving public health systems, so that they actually work for people, and to empowering public health professionals across the country to advocate on behalf of the communities and people they serve.
